The Reverend Kurt Unangst
Rector
Rev. Kurt accepted the call to lead St. Mary’s in December 2023. He adores St. Mary’s, who they are, and who they are becoming. He’s a Bogger by birth, hailing from Cape Cod, raised in Ohio, and lived many years in West Michigan. He attended Virginia Theological Seminary for his Master of Divinity and has also studied at General Theological Seminary, Wesley Seminary, and Yale Divinity School. He delights every day in his family and pets. The church allows him to cook for large groups of people periodically because they know he has a deep creative need to feed people BBQ and tacos.
